Remote work is defined as any type of work that is done outside of a traditional office setting. This can include working from home, working from a co-working space, or even working while traveling. There are many benefits to working remotely, including increased flexibility, increased productivity, and the ability to work from anywhere in the world.
Even before the pandemic forced many businesses to adopt remote work arrangements, the world was already trending toward a more flexible company work culture. It was assumed that this shift toward flexible remote work would just be a temporary inconvenience that would disappear as soon as we addressed the pandemic.
