Swaging machines can be an effective, economical method to direct rods, wire or tube. Utilizing a series of quick blows generated by rotating hammers and dies, the process shapes metal (forging) without the use of machined chips. Swaging is used to produce several products such as structural cable, rigging railings and recreational ropes course cables. It can also be used to draw, alter size cut, shape, make metal parts taper or bond.
